Flood in Mahakali River, 23 sand miners stranded




              KANCHANPUR, JUN 17 -

Flood in Mahakali River triggered by heavy rainfall since two days has inundated Titreyaghat area in Bhimdarshan Municipality-13 of Kanchanpur district.
23 sand miners have been stranded in the middle of Titreyaghat due to swollen Mahakali River.
A joint rescue team of Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police have been making their efforts to rescue those stranded people since early this morning.
Meanwhile, locals were able to save lives of three sand miners with the help of a tube last night.
